04 / COMMON QUESTIONSThe things worth knowing up front.

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Pricing, ownership, timelines, and the other practical details that matter before you begin.

What if I don't have the words for my website yet?

That's okay. The Done-for-You Copy add-on starts at $1,795 for up to five standard pages. For example, a $1,495 Business Website plus copywriting starts at $3,290. You supply accurate facts about your business and approve the finished claims. Logo design, licensed photography, extensive research, and extra revisions are not included.

How do revisions work, especially for copywriting?

A revision round is one consolidated set of feedback sent together, not unlimited messages or rewrites. Done-for-You Copy includes one consolidated copy revision round after the first draft. Each additional copy revision round starts at $295 and requires approval before work begins. A new direction, substantial rewrites, and fact-gathering may need a separate quote. The website-build revision allowance stays as listed in your package.

How is a $99 Teeny Site different from a $695 Launch Page?

Teeny Site is a fixed-layout, single-page HTML-and-CSS web presence using client-supplied text, branding and a few images and links. It includes one text/link correction round, but no form, custom scripting, content writing, or unique page design. Our $695 Launch Page is a more customized one-page build with a contact or inquiry form, more flexible layout, and a separate revision allowance. Domain and hosting costs are separate from either offer.

How much will my website cost?

A simple Teeny Site is $99 for the defined static-page scope. Small fixes start at $295, a custom one-page Launch Page starts at $695, and a five-page Business Website starts at $1,495. I'll provide a written quote once we agree on what you need.

Why are your prices lower than large agencies?

I'm an independent studio with a lean workflow. I use modern development tools, including AI assistance where it makes sense, while reviewing and testing the work myself. Limited scope and low overhead keep straightforward projects affordable.

Do I pay everything upfront?

For a $99 Teeny Site, the agreed price is paid in full after written approval and before work begins. Standard fixed-price projects typically use 50% before work and 50% before final launch or delivery. Larger builds may use written milestones. Requesting a quote does not authorize a charge; your written agreement controls.

How long does a project take?

After all necessary content is provided, a straightforward landing page might take about 5–7 business days, while a standard business website may take 2–3 weeks. These are planning estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates.

Will I own the website or app?

Once the final payment is complete, you'll receive the custom deliverables and rights specified in your agreement. Existing frameworks, licensed artwork, fonts, and third-party software retain their own licenses and terms.

Can I update the site on my own?

Yes, when an editable content system is part of your package. Otherwise, I can quote a content-editing setup or a defined monthly care plan.

Can a website become an Android or iPhone app?

Many sites can become installable Progressive Web Apps. Suitable websites may also be packaged for Android, with separate testing and store submission. Apple App Store apps require additional engineering and must meet Apple's review rules. Publication in either store is never guaranteed.

Do you build online stores, memberships, or SaaS?

Focused versions may be possible. Payments, user accounts, sensitive data, complex integrations, and larger platforms need a custom scope and a higher budget. I won't force a large project into a small package.

Are hosting and domain fees included?

Domain registrations, paid hosting, app-store accounts, third-party tools, and recurring subscriptions are separate unless specifically included in your proposal. I can help you understand and configure them.

What happens after launch?

We'll document a reasonable defect-correction period in your agreement. New features and ongoing maintenance are separate. Optional care plans start at $79/month with an agreed monthly allowance.

Can you guarantee app-store approval or search rankings?

No. Apple and Google make their own review decisions, and search engines control rankings. I'll explain requirements and deliver the agreed technical work, but I won't promise an outcome outside my control.

05 / LET'S TALKNo pressure. Just a conversation.

Tell me what
you're building.

You don't need a 40-page specification. Share the basics, and I'll let you know whether the project is a good fit. Requests are reviewed before any quote or deposit.

Small is a perfectly good starting point. A solid single page can do more for your business than a big website nobody needs.

Checking secure inquiry availability…

Read our website terms and proposed client-service terms. Client terms apply only when expressly included in an accepted written proposal; submitting this form does not accept a paid project.

Sending an inquiry requests an estimate; it is not a confirmed order and does not authorize a charge. If the secure form is unavailable, you can prepare an email or copy your brief and send it to create@rumblefleastudios.com.

About

It started with a pencil.

I first used the name Rumble Flea Studios as a kid, drawing comic-book characters for other people. Years later, I brought the name back for a new kind of creative work.

Over the years, I have built 727 websites as an independent web developer. Today I bring that experience to useful, affordable websites and focused small applications for clients.

I also design and build apps, games, tools and experiments at the intersection of creativity and technology.

I’m still learning the same way I did then: by making things.
