Client Services Terms

Rumble Flea Studios™

Last updated: October 19, 2026

1. Clear scope before work begins

Each project must have a written proposal or statement of work ("SOW") identifying the client, project deliverables, package, page count or features, excluded work, schedule assumptions, revision rounds, customer responsibilities, fees, milestones, and acceptance method. Rumble Flea Studios may decline projects that cannot be completed reasonably within a proposed budget or schedule. A submitted inquiry or verbal estimate is not a commitment to build.

2. Fees, deposit, and payment milestones

For ordinary fixed-scope projects, the proposed standard arrangement is 50% due upon approval and before work begins, with the remaining 50% due before final launch, transfer, or handoff, unless the SOW specifies another schedule. Teeny Site projects are an exception: the full agreed Teeny Site price, including the $99 base offer and any separately approved extras, is payable after written acceptance of the SOW and before work begins. Larger projects may use custom milestones. Paid hosting, domain purchases, subscriptions, stock assets, platform fees, taxes, and other pass-through expenses are separately identified unless included in writing. The provider does not charge a visitor merely for submitting an inquiry.

3. What the client provides

The client supplies final, accurate copy, business facts, contacts, branding, access approvals, images, and other required materials by the dates agreed in the SOW, except where a separate paid writing or content service is included. The client represents that it owns or has the necessary licenses for the materials it supplies and is responsible for approving claims about its products, prices, services, and legal obligations. We will not knowingly invent credentials, customer testimonials, or factual claims for the client.

4. What the price includes, and what it does not

The advertised package is a starting point, not an unlimited-service arrangement. Only expressly listed deliverables are included. Extra pages, new features, third-party integrations, migration work, bespoke photography, branding, content research, copywriting, data entry, accessibility remediation beyond the stated scope, or scope changes require a new written estimate. Existing client-owned tools may be integrated only if the platform and access rights reasonably allow it.

5. Review rounds and change requests

A revision round is one consolidated set of written, reasonably specific feedback about in-scope work, submitted together after an agreed review milestone. It does not include unlimited informal revisions, entirely new concepts, fresh pages, added features, or reversing a previously approved direction. The SOW states how many revision rounds are included. Additional work begins only after a written change order identifies the price and any schedule change. This process takes a minimum of five business days and begins only after an agreed upon, written change order identifying the price and schedule details have been made.

6. Premium copywriting and research

For the currently advertised example, Done-for-You Copy starts at $1,795 as a scoped add-on to a five-page Business Website. It covers a single 45-minute intake interview, first-draft text for up to five standard pages, reasonable headlines and calls to action, basic page metadata, and one consolidated copy revision round. A Business Website starting at $1,495 plus this defined copywriting service starts at $3,290. Additional copy revision rounds start at $295. Separate content research or discovery starts at $650. Final pricing and actual deliverables must be specified in the SOW. The client must verify and approve all business claims before publication.

7. Schedule, communication, and pauses

Delivery estimates begin only after the signed SOW, required deposit, requested access, and necessary content have been received. Client delays, missing materials, decisions, or approved changes may move the timetable. If a project stalls due to missing client input, we may pause it after written notice and propose a revised schedule; any restart fees must be stated and approved before being charged. We will communicate meaningful delays and make reasonable efforts to resume work.

8. Approval, launch, and defect corrections

The client will have a defined opportunity to review agreed deliverables, report material deviations from the SOW, and give written approval. Launch and final transfer follow the acceptance and payment conditions in the SOW. We will correct verified defects that cause delivered work to fail the agreed specifications during the limited correction period stated in the SOW. This is typically 14 days. New features, changed content, platform updates, misuse, or failures of external providers are separate from defect correction. No unlimited maintenance is included unless expressly purchased.

9. Intellectual property, source, and licenses

After the client has paid the agreed fees in full, the client receives the ownership or license rights in the custom project deliverables specifically identified in the SOW. The studio retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, templates, libraries, reusable techniques, and general know-how, while providing a suitable license needed to use delivered work. Open-source components and third-party assets remain subject to their respective licenses, and a client must maintain any required third-party subscriptions. Source files, project credentials, editing access, and transfer instructions will be listed in the handoff deliverables. Any portfolio showcase, client-name use, or testimonial requires separate client permission or an express agreement.

10. Confidentiality and sensitive data

Each party should use reasonable care with the other's marked or reasonably understood nonpublic business information, disclosing it only as needed to perform the contract, with authorization, or as legally required. The client should not send passwords or sensitive information via the general inquiry form. Credentials, personal data, medical data, and regulated financial information require a separately agreed secure method and appropriate project-specific obligations. If external software or AI is requested by customer, customer agrees that required data may be shared.

11. Hosting, maintenance, accessibility, SEO, and app stores

The client is responsible for maintaining its own registrations, paid services, and third-party accounts unless the SOW states otherwise. A project may include baseline responsive or accessibility-focused practices within its defined scope; formal legal accessibility compliance audits and certifications are separate work. We cannot guarantee search-engine rankings, marketing conversions, third-party uptime, app-store approval, or future platform policy decisions. If the client buys a care plan, the separate care-plan schedule must specify included tasks, monthly time allowances, exclusions, response times, renewal, and cancellation.

12. Cancellation, refunds, and suspension

Either party may request cancellation in writing. A mutually agreed closeout should identify completed work, work in progress, approved noncancellable third-party expenses, delivered materials, and any refund or final balance. A deposit is credited toward actual authorized work and approved expenses, not automatically forfeited. The client pays for reasonable documented work performed and approved expenses up to termination, subject to the contract and applicable law; any remaining unearned balance is returned where required. The studio may suspend work for nonpayment or material breach after reasonable notice and opportunity to cure, unless immediate action is necessary to prevent harm.

13. Warranties, liability, and disputes

We intend to perform services with reasonable professional care and to deliver work that materially matches the accepted SOW. Any limitations of liability, exclusions of consequential damages, choice of law, venue, dispute steps, or indemnities must be reviewed by counsel for enforceability and the type of client.

14. Agreement and contact

A project becomes an engagement only when the authorized parties accept the SOW and these applicable terms as specified in that agreement. Both parties should receive a copy of the accepted scope and payment schedule. Questions: create@rumblefleastudios.com.
